iDecisionGames® is a platform that you will use to complete your Live Negotiation Exercises. This support article will help get you started with iDecisionGames as well as troubleshoot technical difficulties that you may come across during your Live Negotiation Exercises.

- Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF Reader
- A microphone (built-in or external)
- A webcam (built-in or external)
- A headset - It is recommended that you use earphones or headphones to prevent feedback from entering your microphone and causing noise for the person on the other end of the video chat.
- A stable internet connection, preferably wired ethernet
To ensure that you are able to engage properly during the Live Negotiation Exercises on iDecisionGames, it is important that the microphone and camera on your local machine are configured properly.
Before you begin the negotiation exercises on the iDecisionGames platform, you will be required to complete the Test Audio/Video stage.
Click Start Testing to begin the test.
On the next step of the test, grant your web browser permission to let iDecisionGames.com use your camera and microphone.
If the Permissions pop-up does not automatically appear, click the Padlock icon on the left of the search bar of your web browser to launch it.
In the Permissions pop-up, check that your camera, microphone and sound are allowed.
Once you have allowed iDecisionGames.com to use your camera and microphone, the system will run tests, and if successful, you will see the screen below. If the tests are unsuccessful, this means that your camera and microphone may not have been configured properly.
Click Continue to navigate back to your dashboard so that you can proceed to the next stage of the exercise
What do I do if I lose your connection during the negotiation?
Refresh your browser page by pressing F5 on your keyboard if you are using a Windows computer. For iOS users, press Command+R to refresh your browser page, this will redirect you to the Live Negotiation Exercise page once your connection is restored.
Contact the Global Success Team using the Need help? tab on the right of your screen on the Online Campus so that they can help you return to the Live Negotiation Exercise.
How do I return to the dashboard of your current activity?
Should you need to return to the dashboard to access a previous stage of the activity you can click on the back arrow, as boxed in red in the screenshot below.
What do I do if a timer runs out while I am busy with a particular stage?
Navigate back to your dashboard and click the Review button of the stage so that you can re-attempt the stage.
How do I contact the Head Tutor during the Live Negotiation Exercise?
Your Head tutor will periodically be checking in with you via live video for any questions. In the stages where there are live chats, you can @tag your Tutor in the chat window.
What do I do if I return to the dashboard and the next stage is not available?
Please wait a few moments until the next stage is made available by the Head Tutor.
What do I do if I am not able to hear my partner?
Return to the “Test Audio/Video” stage and start a new test - this will give you a consolidated result of the issue. Your partner may also need to perform the “Test Audio/Video” stage again.
