As part of any of our short courses, you will need to have Adobe Flash player installed. If you already have Adobe Flash player installed, or use Google Chrome as your Internet browser, skip to the next section.
Step 1: If you use the Firefox browser and you don’t have Adobe Flash installed, you will see the following message at the top of your browser:
Step 2: Installing Adobe Flash Player is as easy as clicking on the image or clicking the “Install Missing Plugins…” button. Wait for the plug-in to download and follow the prompts.
Step 3: You should then be able to refresh the web page and watch your videos.
If you use Internet Explorer, you will either see a pop-up asking you to install Adobe Flash Player or the video will simply display as an empty block
Step 1: To fix this, you will need to install Adobe Flash Player from the official website. The address of the site that you need to visit http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Step 2: Once the page has loaded, click the large “Agree and install now” button.
Step 3: Follow the prompts from there and, once your installation is complete, you will be able to refresh the page to watch the video lectures.
Step 4: With Adobe Flash Player installed, you can now watch the video lectures. You can do this accessing the specific video you would like to view and clicking on the title of the video.
After downloading Adobe, you may have to enable it in your Safari Browser. The following steps will help with enabling Adobe Flash Player in Safari.
Step 1: Open Safari, and choose Safari > Preferences.
Note: If you are viewing Safari in full-screen mode, mouse over the top of the browser screen to see the menu.
Step 3: Select Adobe Flash Player.
From the When visiting other websites menu, choose Allow.
